In addition to coffee, tea and cafe snacks, this charming little neighborhood coffeehouse offers a respectable roster of craft beers and ciders from Japan and the rest of the world. The selection from the five taps changes quite often, but when we visited it featured beers from Modern Times (San Diego) and Driftwood Brewery (Victoria, BC) and a craft cider from Cascadia Cider Workers (Portland, OR).
If you're having trouble deciding what to drink, a five-beer tasting flight, served in a rack of fat test tubes, is Y1000, while pints are around Y1200 and half-pints Y700. The small food menu includes sandwiches (apple and pork; avocado), breakfast plates (bacon and eggs with kale salad and toast), pastas and soup. Most seating is at big communal tables, and take-out service is available as well. Note the early 8pm closing time.
