Located next to Kirin Brewery's Yokohama factory, this attractively appointed bar-restaurant makes a pleasant stop after finishing Kirin's hour-long factory tour and tasting. The spacious dining room is decorated with giant brewing tanks and a library-themed lounge area, with separate open kitchen and bar areas. They offer a handful of Kirin-produced, limited-edition craft-style beers, either separately or as a six-part tasting flight (Y1300), along with a reasonably priced food menu.
The beers range from predictable pilsner and stout variations to more unusual brews like the raspberry-infused "Jazzberry," which is made with wine yeast, and "Daydream," flavored with yuzu peel and sansho pepper. There are also a few limited-edition beers infused with special hops.
The internationally diverse food menu features dishes like jambalaya, four-cheese tarte flambee, Reuben sandwiches (served on bread made with brewer's yeast) and Indonesian-style mie goreng. Unlike Spring Valley's branch in Daikanyama, the food here is more budget-friendly, with most main dishes priced in the Y1000-1400 range.
