With its waterfront location looking out over the Sumida River, this brewpub's ten-seat second-floor terrace is an especially pleasant spot from which to watch the parade of passing boats when the weather is nice. The bar offers a decent selection of imported and domestic craft beers from their ten taps, including some very drinkable beers made right here in the downstairs brewery. Tasting flights are available.
There's a small drinks-only bar area downstairs overlooking the brewing tanks and a more spacious dining room plus terrace up on the second floor where food is served. We found the bar menu to be rather hit or miss - our quesadillas were disappointingly shy in the cheese filling department, although our macaroni and cheese was somewhat better, filled with ample amounts of gooey cheese. Other bar snacks include Buffalo wings, fried chicken, and Cajun-style soft-shell crab fritters.
Beers are served in two sizes, with medium-size glasses (280ml) priced at Y700 and larger ones (470ml) at Y900. Main dishes are typically in the Y700-1300 range, and lunches (served until 5pm) are priced from Y980-1380.
