Charcoal Grill Green, with three branches in Yokohama, serves good grilled meats along with Japanese craft beers and mostly European wines. The menu offers intriguing-sounding dishes such as Popcorn Shrimp with Cajun Aioli; Smoky Pulled-pork Poutine; and Spaghettini with Chinese Bolognese Sauce. They also serve burgers.

We enjoyed an excellent charcoal-grilled lamb with chimichurri and mashsd potatoes - the meat retained just the right amount of fat for maximum flavor, and the charcoal-infused fattiness was well balanced against the vinegary and garlicky Argentine-style chimichurri sauce. A pint of Shiga-Kogen House IPA went along with it quite nicely.

The rotating beer list generally features three craft beers on tap, priced at Y720 and Y980 for small and large glasses. Wines range from Y520-720 per glass, and main dishes are around Y1100-1600.
