Beer Boy: Naka-Meguro
Beer Boy Naka-Meguro: Beer bar

Produced by the popular Craft Beer Market chain, Beer Boy is a standing bar with nine taps of craft beers and an izakaya-style food menu. Food comes in small, snack-size portions and it's consistently well prepared and often creatively conceived. For example, the "ramen shop otsumami" platter features slices of grilled chashu pork. menma (fermented bamboo shoots) and a soft-boiled egg, Potato salad is topped with anchovy morsels.

Other typical dishes include fried chicken karaage, goya champuru and sashimi platters. The beer choices cover both regular domestic beers that you'd find at CBM branches, attractively priced at Y480/780 for small and large glasses, as well as more premium, hard-to-find beers from foreign breweries for a bit more. The shop is open all day on weekends and holidays.
