This lively backstreet cafe serves dozens of different buckwheat galettes and dessert crepes in addition to French hard ciders. You can supplement your galette "complete" (egg, ham and cheese) with add-on ingredients like mushrooms, onions, potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or opt for "specialty" galette varieties like smoked salmon, smoked duck, artichoke or Camembert.
Valrhona chocolate is featured in several of the dessert crepes, and thrill seekers can enjoy flaming crepes such as the Duchesse Anne (apple compote, rum-soaked raisins, Calvados) or the classic Crepes Suzettes (orange, orange zest, orange butter, Grand Marnier). Galettes run Y1,380-2,180, with crepes similarly priced.
Drinks include teas from Mariage Freres, organic coffee, several apple and pear ciders, wine, and fruit juices. Seating in the main dining room is cafe-style, and there are a handful of outdoor tables as well.
