Upstairs on the second floor of the brewery is a large dining area where you can sample some of the dozens of beers made here along with beer-friendly food. Eight beers on tap are priced at around Y950 and Y650 for large and small sizes, and during a recent visit these included four different IPAs, a stout, a lager, an altbier and a grape ale.
The food offerings are an entertaining mix of Nagoya specialties and American-style bar favorites, with dishes like Taiwan taco rice, teppan jambalaya and ebi-fry tacos. The latter were pretty good, made with big tasty prawns, and the kakuni (stewed pork) was nice and fatty, with a rich Nagoya-style miso base.
The dining room includes a small terrace area, and there's a bigger terrace on the third floor devoted to parties with open bar and barbecue.
