Established by two beer importers - Beer Cats and AQ Bevolution - this combination bar and retail shop offers a nice selection of mostly US craft beers, from breweries like Heretic, Elysian, Schooner Exact and Left Hand. And unusually for Tokyo bars, you can bring your own food.
Around eighty beers are sold by the bottle (or can) at retail prices, and there's a bottle charge for in-store consumption of Y300 for a regular bottle and Y500 for a large size. All bottles and cans are available to go, as well. There are ten taps, which generally include at least one Japanese guest beer.
Draft beers come in two sizes, priced starting from Y700 for a glass and Y1300 for a very big jockey (around a pint and a half). The small food menu features gyoza dumplings, but you can bring your own from the food hall in nearby Otsuka station or one of the neighboring restaurants.
There's table seating up on the third floor, a cushion-filled lounge area on the second floor (take off your shoes), and standing room plus one small table down on the ground floor. The bar seems to attract a lively crowd of both foreigners and local residents. There is no table charge.
