The second branch of the Bakurocho-based bar-brewpub serves beers from Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) in Portland, Oregon, plus guest beers, at least one cider, and one or two of their own house beers. There are thirteen taps in all, and beers come in three sizes, ranging in price from Y350-950. (There's also a small table charge.)
The food menu is wide and diverse, ranging from tapas dishes, charcuterie and cheese platters to pastas, pizzas and burgers. We enjoyed some very appetizing starter dishes - intensely flavored snow crab and avocado tartare, a rich foie gras pudding with cassis sauce, and excellent mushroom fritters.
Unfortunately our burger was extremely overcooked, which was disappointing given the quality of the rest of the menu. The pizzas here might be a better bet - they're one of the big drawing cards at the main, Bakurocho branch of the brewery, where they're very well made.
The dining space is quite spacious, with around sixty seats plus a standing area up front if you just want a quick beer. American jazz radio plays in the background, and the overall ambience is very casual. Budget around Y2000-3000 for dinner with drinks.
