Bevvy Nishi-Shinjuku: Bar

Located in the Food Hall Blast! food-court complex, Draft Pub Bevvy offers ten Japanese craft beers on tap, ten wines on tap, and six ciders. As far as food goes, you can order tacos, burritos, barbecued meats, pizzas and other casual snacks from any of the restaurant stalls in the food court downstairs.

The initial beer list represents a collection of well-regarded breweries such as Minoh, Kure (Hiroshima), Shiga Kogen, Ushitora, Swan Lake, Be Easy and the like, while the cider list includes representatives from Spain, the US and Japan. Three-, five- and seven-part beer tasting flights are available if you want some variety, but note that the beers are chosen by the staff, so you can't assemble your own flight. Likewise three- and six-glass flights of cider are also available for comparison purposes.

All ordering is done via a tablet computer that displays a bilingual menu, but of course you can walk over to the bar and talk to the bartender if you want advice on beer styles or cider characteristics. Beers are served in three different sizes, priced from Y450-500 for small glasses. A five-glass beer flight is Y1480, and a three-glass cider flight is Y980.
