A self-styled "craft-beer izakaya," Apart offers an impressive selection of craft beers from their eleven taps, representing breweries like Pipeworks (Chicago), Jester King (Austin), Swanlake (Niigata) and Shiga Kogen (Nagano). There's also a fridge full of canned and bottled beers, including quite a few rare imports - perfect for when you want to splurge on some deluxe, hard-to-find brews.
Unusually for a craft-beer bar, they also carry four or five well-chosen craft sakes, all from Fukushima Prefecture. The meat-centered food menu focuses mainly on beer-friendly dishes like pulled pork, liver pate, roast beef and charcuterie platters. The "Meat-lover's Dream" is particularly recommended - it's a tempting platter of pulled pork, smoked sausages, chili beans and cheese, and at only Y1000 it's a real bargain.
Budget around Y3000-4000 for food and drink at dinnertime.
