Small dishes and noodles from China, Southeast Asia and Japan are served with craft beers at this very multi-cultural establishment in Tokyo station's restaurant complex. The atmosphere is lively and the food is tasty and well prepared, several cuts above your typical noodle-shop fare.
Popular dishes include shrimp wontons, lamb sui-gyoza and other dumplings; mini banh mi pinchos; and a variety of skewered grilled meats. Shrimp-squid fritters served with a garlicky aioli were a standout, as were the skewers of grilled beef skirt steak. Assorted stir-fries, spicy Thai-style salads and various noodle and rice dishes round out the menu.
A recent tap list included beers from Isekadoya, DD4D Brewery (Eihime), Yokohama Brewing, Ushitora, and Sankt Gallen. Domestic craft beers are priced at Y670 and Y1,000 small and medium-size glasses, respectively, while the handful of imports are Y100 more. The shop is located in the basement "Gransta Yaekita - Kurobe Yokocho" section of the Tokyo station complex.
