Located inside the Tokyu Foodshow basement food hall, the Carvaan Beer Stop standing bar is run by a Saitama-based craft brewery and Middle Eastern restaurant. One of the brewery's goals is to recreate interesting historical beers from past centuries, so the selection here is a bit out of the ordinary. The brewery's award-winning brews like Andes Cacao Stout, Arabian Lime Ale, Heath IPA, and African Vanilla Porter are served on a rotating basis.
If it's too early for beer, you'll also find a lineup of exotic smoothies in flavors like "Arabian date and fig and nut" and "Blueberry and Inca Berry with Hibiscus". For snacks you can choose from Arabian wrap sandwiches (Lamb and Beef Kofta, Roast Cauliflower and Harissa), Middle Eastern deli plates and salads, and sweets like Egyptian Date Cheesecake. Carvaan runs a Middle Eastern deli counter attached to the bar, so all of the food items are also available to take home.
