'Good beer! Good ham! Good music!' reads the sign on the wall, and this is a manifesto we wholeheartedly endorse. Pub Karr is a cozy, friendly little spot, well suited to a group outing if you don't mind cigarette smoke. In addition to table seating there's also a five-seat counter where you can pop in for a quick drink as part of a beer-bar tour. The excellent musical soundtrack leans towards seventies soul and funk.
Six craft beers on tap come in three sizes, with small (270ml) glasses priced at around Y800 and US pints at Y1300, a bit higher than average. There are also several craft beers by the bottle. And as their motto suggests, ham is a specialty of the house here, along with other pub fare like Minoh Stout Shepherd's Pie (Y800), shrimp ajillo, and various pizza configurations.
